March 10 2008
At Samoter 2008, New Holland Construction announced, its new, unique customer service programme. The dedicated free phone number, 00800-64655263, will give access to a host of innovative services, spanning from a simple request for information or sales materials right up to breakdown assistance.
Giuseppe Fano, President and CEO of New Holland Construction, commented: “Our commitment is to give our customers the edge they need to be successful in today’s highly competitive environment. Today we are offering them a best-in-class service built around their business: available 24/7, effective, comprehensive and proactive – 360º service.”
The service, active from the 31st of March, will create an additional communication channel between the public and New Holland Construction, its dealers and its authorised workshops, and give dealers a powerful back up in supporting customers.
The New Holland Construction Customer Service team will be available around the clock throughout the year. They will be able to supply our sales materials, give information about our events and initiatives or the trade shows where New Holland Construction will be present.
The Customer Service team will be ready to assist existing or prospective customers with information on products and financing packages, and putting them in contact with their nearest dealer.
Customers with a technical issue or, in the unfortunate event of a breakdown, can contact the Customer Service team, who will activate the dealer or authorised workshop closest to where the machine is operating.
For customers with New Holland Construction Heavy line products in warranty, roadside-type assistance with fast-track resolution will be activated immediately on receiving a call from the customer. The Customer Service team will alert the nearest dealer or authorised workshop.
Our dedicated parts team will ensure 24/7 parts service, locate the required parts that are closest to the customer and ship them by express delivery service.
New Holland Construction’s technical and engineering teams will be on call to support the dealer and workshop technicians, resolve any technical issues and get the machine back at work in the shortest possible time.
The customer service team will follow up on every single call, coordinating New Holland teams and dealers as necessary. They will drive the process forward relentlessly, until they receive confirmation from the customer that they are satisfied with the solution.
This structured approach to service, which brings the customer into the process, will enable New Holland Construction to build a comprehensive knowledge base from all the feedback and case histories. The know-how acquired will be used by the Engineering and Service teams in the product development process and in devising the most effective solutions to the possible issues customers may encounter with their machines.
As product upgrades become available, the Customer Service team will coordinate with the customer’s dealer in order fit these upgrades on his equipment with no disruption to his schedule.
“Our new Customer Service programme, by bringing our customer, our dealer and our organisation close together, enables us to channel our resources in the most effective way and capitalises on our partnership with our dealers to act quickly when our customers need support and to take a proactive approach to ensuring their equipment is always performing to New Holland Construction’s highest standards of productivity, safety and environmental performance,” added Mr Fano.
