Doosan Engine earned the environmental management standard ISO14001 certification from the world-class register of the shipping association, Det Norske Veritas (DNV). On June 8, Doosan held a certification award ceremony at its Changwon headquarters with the attendance of the DNV president and Doosan’s staffers.

This ISO certification is awarded to corporations equipped with environmentally-friendly workplaces to certify their environmental performance, as part of the response to environmental regulation across the world.

With this certification, Doosan Engine expects to secure its product competitiveness in line with enhanced international environmental criteria, to effectively respond to possible environmental accidents, to enhance productivity by creating a pleasant working environment, and to bolster its domestic and overseas reliability.

Furthermore, Doosan Engine has succeeded in earning the international certifications of ISO14001 (environmental management system), OHSAS 18001 (safety and health management system), and ISO9001 (quality management system), thereby establishing a true management system.
