Modern warehouses are astonishing works of precision. The famous six “Rs” of logistics, “the right product, at the right time, at the right place, for the right price, in the right quantity and the right quality,” also mark the work processes in these often enormous warehouses with their seemingly endless aisles. This particularly calls for the design of products that contribute to creating and maintaining a positive work environment. The Crown TSP6000 is a turret stockpicker that blends the functionality of two different lift trucks into a single vehicle. It has been designed with harmoniously balanced proportions and communicates work effectiveness as well as a high degree of professional mobility. It is not only fun to drive, but makes its operators feel more valued, giving them the feeling that they can always rely on their vehicle. The ergonomics of this vehicle are also innovative. The MoveControl seat is vertically adjustable and rotates by 110 degrees so that the operator can choose between five different seating and standing positions with maximum fore/aft visibility at all times. The adjustability of the seat also provides the operator with open access to the shelves for efficient order picking and easy cabin entry/exit. The custom-designed seat has an internal mesh suspension and thus also provides users with long-term comfort as well as postural relief while working. Multi-task controls allow the operator to simultaneously activate all truck functions and rotate the seat for optimum task positioning, without having to interrupt the workflow.
