Hyster Europe is targeting the used machinery market with a new website to help end-users find high-quality used and refurbished Hyster trucks for their specific application needs.

"Not every application demands a new machine," says David McIntyre, remarketing manager for Hyster Europe. "A used or fully refurbished Hyster lift truck, supplied by an official Hyster dealer, can be the ideal solution in many applications."

Just a few weeks since going live, more than 1,000 Hyster trucks have already been added to the new website.

McIntyre says his company is seeing strong demand for quality used forklifts across Europe. "As the world emerges from the difficult circumstances of coronavirus, customers will continue to seek used Hyster equipment, thanks to its reputation for robustness and longevity," he notes. "We have experienced a growing confidence for end-users to utilise fully refurbished equipment within their facilities, especially in lower-hour applications. Many large tenders are now requesting a mixed fleet of new and used machines in order to manage overall costs."
