Toyota:End-to-end low-carbon hydrogen forklifts to be tested
转载 2016-03-19 11:33 toyota Source:toyotaA public-private Japanese partnership will implement an end-to-end low-carbon hydrogen supply chain which will use hydrogen generated from renewable energy sources to power forklifts. The low-carbon hydrogen supply chain is expected to reduce CO2 emissions by at least 80 pc compared to forklifts powered by grid electricity or gasoline.

Electricity will be generated at the Yokohama City Wind Power Plant; after being compressed and stored, it will be transported via a hydrogen fuelled truck to a factory, a vegetable and fruit market and two warehouses.
The partnership is made up of the Kanagawa Prefectural Government, the governments of the cities of Yokohama and Kawasaki, and three private sector companies, including Toyota Motor Corp.
