US VICE PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN INSPECTS KONECRANES RTGS AT PORT OF NEW ORLEANS

The day of the visit marked the seventh anniversary of the country’s stimulus bill, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. During his visit, Vice President Biden had the chance to see the ports new intermodal yard, where the newest Konecranes RTGs are being erected.
Konecranes is currently delivering two RTG cranes to the port. They are fully electrical, heavy-duty RTG cranes equipped with Konecranes Active Load Control, which eliminates container sway to increase container handling performance.
