Hyster enhances reach stacker
转载 2015-05-27 11:40 Hyster Source:HysterHyster has made further upgrades to its reach stacker line to cut lifetime costs for ports and terminals experiencing increased container throughput.
"More than 25% fuel savings, which could be more than 4 litres per hour, can be achieved with the new Hyster reach stacker when compared to our Stage IIIA 2010 trucks and many of our competitor models," says product strategy manager Jan Willem. The new machines feature the new Cummins QSL9 engine and other technologies to meet the Stage IV/Tier 4 final (T4f) emissions legislation. Hyster says it has used heavy EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) combined with SCR (selective catalytic reduction) and a diesel oxidation catalyst to achieve Stage IV/T4f compliance. This has resulted in about 96% fewer particles (soot) and 94% less nitrogen oxides compared to Stage IIIA/T3 equivalents before 2005.
