Perkins® 4000 Series gas engines give you the versatility you need for today’s power generation market. They deliver the same high efficiency performance as their diesel counterparts and meet increasingly stringent emissions standards.

They can run on landfill gas, digester gas, biogas and coal-bed mine gas and, with exceptional power-to-weight ratios and compact design, they are easy to transport and install.

All TRS engines can be supplied as Electro Unit for power generation or Cogen unit specification for combined heat and power operation.

On show for the first time in China, Perkins will display the natural gas variant of its 4008-30TRS engine, an 8 cylinder, 30 litre offering, capable on the TRS2 model of delivering 526 kWm

The largest engine offering from Perkins, a 4016-61TRS, which for the exhibition will be set up to run on biogas, will also feature on the stand. The 16 cylinder, 61 litre engine is able to deliver 1042 kWm from its TRS2 offering.
