As one of the world’s leading manufacturers of diesel and gas engines for the off-highway market, Perkins was delighted to participate in and sponsor NATCON 2014, which took place from August 6 – August 8 in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Organised by CREDAI (Confederation of Real Estate Developers' Associations of India), the apex body representing private realty developers in India, NATCON’s theme this year was ‘Homes for All’.

NATCON 2014 was conceived under the leadership of C Shekar Reddy, the national president of CREDAI, with the aim of deliberating, discussing, learning and developing strategies to achieve the mission of 'Homes for All'.

The three day real estate conference was attended by over 800 representatives from the Indian real estate sector and featured a presentation from Matthew Bradshaw, Perkins general sales manager – APAC, on the brand, its product, including their features and benefits and the path to market in India.

On the occasion, Pankaj Jha, South Asia marketing manager for Perkins India said: “NATCON 2014 was a tremendous platform for Perkins to further establish and build brand visibility amongst the Indian real estate community. It was a great opportunity to throw light on the Perkins value chain and explain the take to market strategy to end customers.

“India is a key strategic market for Perkins. The representation of our brand at the 14th NATCON is a reiteration of the same. It was a successful brand building pedestal for us and our representation was greatly appreciated by OEMs and distributors.”

Perkins has been working closely with Indian OEMs for more than 30 years, supporting their power solutions needs. More recently, Perkins’ products have been the engines of choice for the projects in the City Centre Mall in Haldia, West Bengal and the FIFC (First International Financial Centre) in Mumbai.
