Konecranes has been awarded Business of the Year in the large business category for the greater Springfield/Clark Co. Ohio area.

At their annual meeting and EXPO 2014, the Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce awarded Konecranes the title of Business of the Year for its outstanding successes in 2013. A local company, Konecranes joined more than 370 representatives from area businesses at the Hollenbeck Bayley Conference Center. Tom Sothard, Senior Vice President at Konecranes, accepted the award.

“We’re proud to have our efforts recognized by the community,” said Sothard. “Konecranes will continue to work hard and thrive here in Springfield and beyond.”

Konecranes’ Springfield operations began in 1984. The company currently employees 375 people in the Springfield community.
