Gyles Brandreth will host UKWA Awards
转载 2014-04-11 10:13 lloyd arkill Source:lloyd arkillThe host of this year’s UKWA Awards for Warehousing presentation ceremony is Gyles Brandreth – the writer, broadcaster, former MP and Government Whip.
Gyles is one of Britain's most sought-after award ceremony hosts and after-dinner speakers. A reporter on The One Show on BBC1 and a regular on Radio 4's Just a Minute, his many books include The Oscar Wilde Murder Mysteries and the No 1 best-seller: The 7 Secrets of Happiness.
Roger Williams, UKWA’s chief executive officer, commented: “Regulars at our awards events down the years will recall that this is the second time we have chosen Gyles as our host. He was extremely well received the first time – back in 2006 - and we are delighted that he will be joining us again.”
The UKWA Awards for Warehousing ceremony takes place at the Dorchester Hotel, Park Lane, London, on Wednesday 2nd July 2014 and is expected to attract over 450 UKWA members and their guests together with suppliers to the industry.
The event commences at 12 noon with a Gala Reception followed by a three-course luncheon and the awards presentation. Tickets cost £125 each + VAT or a table of 12 can be booked at a cost of £1320.00 + VAT
