Magazine editors recognized the Crown Insite Productivity Suite, a set of forklift fleet and operator management products designed to support better decision-making and improved productivity.infolink ®fleetstats®InfoLink and FleetSTATS , which are part of the Crown Insite Productivity Suite, help customers gain control of costs and identify opportunities to improve fleet performance.
“It’s not uncommon to find technology from third-party suppliers in warehouses and distribution centers,” said Jim Gaskell, director of global Crown Insite products, Crown Equipment. “What is uncommon, though, is for end users to gain a holistic look into their material handling environment(s) via an equipment and technology provider equipped with its own comprehensive platform. As the forklift evolves to become the most connected piece of equipment in the warehouse, it is critical for our customers to extract the actionable information they need to help their businesses operate at the most efficient, productive level.”
The Crown Insite Productivity Suite helps customers such as Clemens Food Group improve efficiency, safety and compliance in its warehouse. Through use of the system’s impact monitoring and management capabilities, the company was able to dramatically decrease the number of impact events by 80 percent.
“From a corporate standpoint, the InfoLink installation is viewed as a great success that continues to deliver a return on investment,” said Kevin Shayer, general manager of distribution and warehousing, Clemens Food Group. “We’ve only just started to really tap into the system’s ability to help us optimize fleet and operator performance. The system already has completely elevated and enhanced the safety culture of our facilities.”
For the past decade, the editors of Food Logistics have annually identified software and technology providers that help food and beverage manufacturers, foodservice distributors and grocery retailers to achieve business goals. The listing is comprised of software providers, as well as equipment and technology companies, whose products and services play a significant role in food and beverage supply chains.
