ARA is a member directed organization, dependent upon a close working relationship between the membership and association. 

The American Rental Association (ARA) is the international trade association for owners of equipment rental businesses and manufacturers and suppliers of rental equipment.

Our current membership includes more than 8,000 rental businesses and nearly 1,000 manufacturers and suppliers.

ARA members are located in all 50 U.S. states, the District of Columbia, Guam, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, the Canadian provinces and more than 40 countries around the world.
The Canadian Rental Association is part of ARA, with Canada comprising ARA’s Region 10.
ARA administers The Global Rental Alliance, a coalition of rental associations located throughout the world.
