Contact Attachments, based in Newtown, Mid Wales, has provided Hertfordshire based Vetspeed Ltd with a forklift attachable drum grab to help the firm safely transport and empty industrial drums used onsite.

Vetspeed Ltd, a waste management company for the veterinary sector and commercial waste, enlisted the support of Contact Attachments to provide a safe and efficient solution for the process of emptying the firm's 205 litre drums using a forklift. There are many common challenges associated with handling drums, and the issue of lifting, moving, and manipulating the drum can often be problematic. The fully automatic drum grab is designed for handling steel drums with rolling hoops, and is ideal for low to medium volume movement.
