Absorbing the advantages of the same kind of products at home and abroad, Zhejiang Goodsense Forklift Co., Ltd. developed and manufactured a new series of 5 ton and 6 ton FDS internal combustion side loader forklift trucks so as to further complete their product category and meet the increasing market demand. This new series of side loader forklift trucks has been exhibited on CeMAT 2013 Shanghai.

The main difference of side loader forklifts and the conventional counterbalanced forklifts lie in the operational device, which is equipped at one side of the forklift. Besides lifting and tilting, the operational device can be stretched out and taken in from the forklift side. This kind of forklift is ideal equipment for the loading, stocking and handling of long material. The long material will be put on the platform longitudinally, requiring less on the width of the warehouse aisle, which can make full use of the working area.

When the operator drives the side loader forklift in the aisle, the fork is directional towards the rack or the stock so that the forklift eliminates the need to turn around before loading or unloading the material, which makes the side loader forklift suitable for the material handling operation in the narrow aisle. Moreover, the side loader forklift can handle the long material in a way that the material is parallel with the truck, which will not be limited by the width of the aisle.

Goodsense FDS internal combustion side loader forklift is equipped with Isuzu 6BG1 engine with a rated power of 2000Kw. With a wheelbase of 2800mm, the forklift can climb a degree of 20°in the laden situation, and is featured with a maximum lifting height (laden) 3600mm, maximum lifting speed (laden) 350mm/s and maximum driving speed (laden) 24Km/h.
