The UK’s FLTA annual awards recognise and reward those material handling businesses that demonstrate the best in innovation, new ideas and environmental and safety achievements.
Cesab has been selected as a finalist in the Safety category, with people invited to vote for their choice in each category of the awards at www.fork-truck.org.uk/flta-awards/vote.
Cesab’s IMD delivers smart, innovative features that help operators to work more safely and achieve quicker, quieter and less stressful workplace operations. It offers superior visibility by using two FFL cylinders which provide operators with excellent forward vision through the mast. The good sight lines mean that operators can see ahead more clearly, handle loads more safely and accurately and do not need to adjust their position as often when positioning the forks.
Terry Stephens, Cesab UK general manager: “The achievements of IMD on the B600 are particularly impressive with new technology that incorporates automatic speed reduction when the forks are lifted, helping to prevent accidents.
“We’re delighted to be a finalist in these prestigious awards and sincerely hope that people will recognise and vote for Cesab and the huge step forward in safety and productivity that IMD represents.“
Voting closes on 31st December 2013 and the awards will be presented in February 2014.
