Explosion protection specialist Pyroban invests in its French operation to enhance the support provided across the region.

With a new management team in place, a fresh approach to customer service and an improved technical centre, Pyroban France is growing its customer base across the region.

The centre, based in Lyon, provides technically advanced explosion-proof conversions for any forklift brand and associated dealers across France.

Philippe Cren, Sales Manager at Pyroban France, explained: "Pyroban equipment is used throughout the chemical supply chain and related industries where flammable material is handled, such as paint, food, drink, waste, bottled gas and logistics. Additionally, the new added safety system for vehicles, Gascheka duo™, is available for local installation on customer sites in France".

They also provide hazardous area consultation and training services nationwide in support of companies complying with European and local legislation, under the new focus of Maxime Buffetrille, Technical and Training Manager.

Pyroban is a global market leader for the explosion proof conversions of forklift trucks and mobile equipment so that they can be used safely and legally within hazardous areas. Conversions are ATEX 94/9/EC compliant and are carried out in the two main facilities located in the UK and The Netherlands.
