Purchased from Lloyd - the Manitou dealer in Newcastle upon Tyne - the order consists of three 12 tonne/9.62 metre MHT10120Ls and two eight tonne/6.8 metre MHT780s.
Huntley Plant director Stephen Huntley said: “The heavy lift telehandler market has been an area we have been looking at for some time and the demand for higher lifting capacities from our customers has increased enough for us to decide to invest. In addition, the opening of our new Carlisle depot this summer allows the better geographical coverage such specialist machines require.”

“Both myself and our customers are extremely impressed with the Manitou MHT range, especially with their versatility of attachments and applications and excellent pick and carry capabilities. I expect further growth and investment in this range during 2014 as we move into more industrial sectors and introduce more customers to the capabilities of our heavy lifting range.”
