Pyroban demonstrated explosion proof solutions at the Transport and Logistics Antwerp 2013 Expo in Belgium in October. The event is aimed specifically at companies working in and around the port of Antwerp.

“Superior safety is critical where the explosion risks are high for industries such as chemical, coatings, food, drink, cosmetics, pharmaceutical, bottled gas and logistics, many of which are located in Antwerp,” says Matthew Shirkie, Head of Industrial Division, Pyroban.

The company exhibited a range of explosion proof solutions for materials handling operations suitable for customers in the port of Antwerp area.

Exhibits on the Pyroban stand included a model of an explosion proof forklift truck featuring Pyroban’s system6000 which provides “Active” Zone 2 protection. system6000 continues to be most popular explosion prevention system in the warehouse and logistics sector and was displayed alongside the “Gascheka duo” system for enhanced safety areas.

“We showed ignition sources and causes of explosion, case study application examples and videos to demonstrate what we do, how and why we do it, and for whom,” says Matthew.
