Pyroban shows Hazardous Area Mobile Power at Offshore Europe
转载 2013-10-08 09:07 Pyroban Source:PyrobanSPE Offshore Europe Conference and Exhibition 2013 in Aberdeen, Scotland, provided a platform for Pyroban to show hazardous area mobile power solutions for the oil and gas industry.
A detailed scale model of a Pyroban powerpack, suitable for safe operation in Zone 2 hazardous areas, was displayed on the stand, showing how Pyroban systems eliminate the risk of explosion from hot surfaces, sparks, overspeed and other hazards. Real-life application case study examples on the stand showed Pyroban systems ‘in situ’.
“We manufacture and supply explosion protection up-fit kits for almost any size and brand of engine” says Mark Jackson, Business Manager from Pyroban. “Current projects in our factories include Cummins, Perkins, John Deere, Volvo, Detroit, MTU and Caterpillar brands.”
“At Offshore Europe we had the opportunity to show visitors how it is possible to retrofit explosion protection to engines onsite” says Gary Smith, Business Development Manager – Oil and Gas, Pyroban. “Many companies believe it is necessary to purchase a new engine in order to protect engines and equipment against the risk of an explosion, or that the conversion must take place offsite. Through our ‘Hazardous Area Mobile Power’ message, we are highlighting that Pyroban trained engineers can fit equipment anywhere, which also helps to reduce transport costs.”
Pyroban systems include exhaust gas coolers, inlet shut-off valves, spark and flame arrestors and other explosion proof components.
A range of individual explosion proof components manufactured by Pyroban Group companies were also on display, including switches, valves and spark arrestors suitable for oil and gas applications. Specialists on the stand discussed Pyroban’s hazardous area Consulting and Training services and global support network with visitors and provided information about recent improvements and significant investments in manufacturing and engineering.
The official overall event attendance figures for Offshore Europe came in at a record 63,000.
“Offshore Europe provides a valuable opportunity to engage with new and existing customers and to learn about new projects within the oil and gas sector,” adds Mark Jackson. “It also enables us to listen to customers’ issues and discuss solutions, whilst demonstrating what explosion protection at Pyroban means.”
Pyroban also supplies complete explosion proof mobile power packages and converts forklifts and mobile equipment for use in hazardous areas. Pyroban exhibited at Offshore Europe 2013 with the Energy Industries Council, the leading Trade Association and not-for-profit organisation with a membership of over 670 UK –registered companies, who deliver goods and services to the energy industries worldwide.
