One of the UK's leading forklift truck attachment specialists is continuing to provide companies with a safe alternative to working from height with its range of secure forklift platforms.

Mid Wales-based Contact Attachments has been designing and manufacturing forklift safety platforms for over three decades, which allow users to work at height safely and efficiently whilst carrying out tasks such as stock taking, factory maintenance or changing light bulbs.

The safety platforms are available to accommodate one person or two people, with these models having different entry methods including gate and bar, and come fully-certified while complying with the latest PM28 Health and Safety regulations.

Ladders are commonly used in workplaces, but so many injuries are caused by the user falling off or the ladder slipping, which is why we offer a viable alternative.

"We manufacture a variety of models, some with gates for entry and others with fixed rails, and each have a security locking system to ensure the platform will not slide off the forklift. Also, full length fork pockets are provided for complete stability, and harness anchorage points and inboard handhold points are incorporated to ensure operator safety."

In addition, the work platforms are designed with perforated mesh to ensure the barrier between the platform user and potential hazardous areas of the forklift truck are protected, as well as anti-slip floor treads with drain holes to avoid accumulation of water or risk of slipping.
