In February 2013 Konecranes received a repeat order for four rubber tired gantry (RTG) cranes from TCV Stevedoring Company S.A. in Valencia, Spain. This is Konecranes’ fifth RTG delivery to TCV. With this delivery complete, TCV will have 23 RTGs in total in its fleet. The parties have agreed not to disclose the value of the order, and the order was included in Konecranes’ first quarter results.

This delivery will increase TCV’s RTG capacity to 23 RTGs. The delivery will take place in fourth quarter of 2013. The 16-wheel RTGs are equipped with Konecranes’ Active Load Control technology, diesel fuel saver technology, autosteering and Crane Management System, enabling safe and reliable operation. They have a lifting capacity of 50 tons, and can stack 1-over-5 containers high and 6-plus-truck lane wide.
