First on show will be the Effer 525 6S + Jib HD 6S. The crane is installed behind the cabin on a MAN TGS 33.480 6 x 6 in combination with a demountable body. Customers of the 525 have used the crane for mounting glass facades, constructing production facilities and transporting and installing ski lifts.
Features of the 525 include a high lifting capacity to weight ratio, a new concept for the fixing screws in the slewing ring and better protection of the arm pins, the manufacturer said. The 525 on show is owned by Brugger (Oetz).
Also on display is the Effer 2655 7S + Jib HD 6S + Jib 3S. The complex installation was completed by Hodelbetriebe at Grosswangen, Switzerland, a company that specialises in truck mounted crane solutions. The 2655 has an outreach of more than 50 metres and height of 54 m. With the fly jib a 60 metre working height can be achieved. In addition, the crane has four Crosstab stabilisers, allowing increased stability. The stabilisers are monitored by sensors and the Progress system. The 2655 on display at the show is owned by Voser. Effer will also be showcasing a 265 6S compete with extra large stabilisers, and a 395 6S + JIB 4S with winch Wind & Drive.
