Cummins Named One of World’s Most Ethical Companies by Ethisphere
转载 2013-03-07 11:19 Cummins Source:CumminsToday, Cummins Inc. (NYSE: CMI) has been named to the Ethisphere Institute’s list of the World’s Most Ethical Companies for a sixth consecutive year.
The Ethisphere Institute recognizes companies that outperform their industry peers when it comes to ethical behavior. A record number of companies applied to make the 2013 list.
“We’re pleased to receive this recognition from the Ethisphere Institute,” said Mark Sifferlen, Vice President, Ethics and Compliance, Cummins Inc. “Cummins has a long history of operating in a transparent, ethical manner, with integrity and responsibility. These qualities are part of our culture and they play a key in the success of our company.”
“Not only did more companies apply for the World’s Most Ethical Companies recognition this year than any year in the past, which demonstrates that ethical activity is an important part of many of these companies’ business models, but we are also seeing more companies be proactive and create new initiatives that expand ethics programs,” said Alex Brigham, Executive Director of Ethisphere.
Companies applying to be on Ethisphere’s list must complete a lengthy survey and the institute then reviews their ethics codes and any litigation or regulatory infractions the companies might be involved in.
