UniCarriers Corporation (Headquarters: Minami Oi Shinagawa-ku Tokyo, Representative: Satoru Omori, "UniCarriers") today completed the transfer of all issued shares of TCM Corporation from Hitachi Construction Machinery Co.,Ltd. and all issued shares of Nissan Forklift Co.,Ltd. from Nissan Motor Co.,Ltd. UniCarriers will develop forklift business with a total of 30 billion yen of growth capital injected by Innovation Network Corporation of Japan ("INCJ").

The long term vision of UniCarriers is "Challenge for Excellence". From production to sales, domestic to global, UniCarriers aims for "Excellence" in every area of the forklift business.

UniCarriers plans to merge its two operating companies by next spring to generate maximum synergies and pursue business improvement and quality improvement. Furthermore, by sharing the responsibilities with Directors and Corporate officers, UniCarriers will ensure that necessary business decisions will be carried out swiftly.
