It was in 1937 that German Professor Otto Bayer discovered that poly isocyanate and poly alcoholic compound would make polyurethane after addition reaction. He introduced such discovery into industrial application. From the year 1945 to 1947, England and America acquired the technology of manufacturing polyurethane resin from Germany and began to industrialize such technology since 1950 successively. In 1955, Japan introduced industrialized technology of manufacturing polyurethane from German Bayer Company and American DuPont Company. It is not until the end of 1950s that polyurethane industry started in China. Developing in a relatively fast rate in recent years, polyurethane was widely used on the material handling equipment used in warehouses, supermarkets and distribution centers such as reach trucks, narrow-aisled forklifts, side loading forklifts, electric stackers, pallet trucks and pallet stackers as well as the trailers operated on the ports. Such kind of material is also suitable to be used in the transmission, guide and support of the equipment manufacturing lines in metallurgy and mines. Polyurethane solid tyre is of high tensile, heavy loading, wear resistant and tear resistant, which is more advanced than common rubber tyre.
