Perkins:Powerful new engine launched at Stafford Engine Centre
转载 2012-06-27 10:14 Perkins Source:PerkinsEmployees at Stafford Engine Centre recently gathered to celebrate the launch of the latest new engine to be manufactured at the Tixall Road facility.
The 1600 Series is the latest addition to the company’s engine offering for the global electric power sector and has been developed to provide prime and standby power in a clean and cost-effective fashion with special emphasis placed on improved power density, reliability and robustness.
The six cylinder 9.3 litre range offers outputs up to 300kVA (240 kWe) prime power and 330 kVA (264 kWe) standby power at 1500 rpm, both key nodes.
Perkins President Gwenne Henricks recognised the significant milestone for Stafford Engine Centre by joining employees for the launch celebration.
