Liebherr has supplied two SC350T straddle carriers to Peel Ports in Liverpool, UK with an option for several more later this year.

The new straddle carrier joins the Port of Liverpool’s seven Liebherr ship to shore cranes. The new carriers are diesel electric with Liebherr’s electrical drive and control systems and feature four axle steering with cylinder mounted sensors to ensure a higher accuracy of the steering system leading to reduced tyre wear.
