On Dec. 20, 2011, the Linde Forklift Truck Driving School Opening Ceremony was successfully held in Linde (China) Xiamen headquarter. In the ceremony, Mr. Zhang Haozhou, Director of Xiamen Public Training Administration & Service Center for high-skilled workers (XPTAS), and Mr. CP Quek, CEO of Linde (China) unveiled the new forklift truck driving school. All the guest were introduced to the forklift truck driving test process and were treated with a lively forklift truck show. 
 
As the first forklift truck driving school within Xiamen Island, Linde Forklift Truck Driving School will provide a wide selection of forklift trucks, a good training environment and a convenient location for the public who wants to obtain a forklift driver's license, with the professional trainers from XPTAS. Mr. Zhang Director of XPTAS expressed that: "We are thankful to Linde (China) in supporting Xiamen government to provide for a professional and convenient forklift driver training location. This is in line with the government efforts to encourage all skilled workers to have a proper training and special equipment license, in order to ensure safety in their daily work."
