RSC to acquire Independent Aerials
转载 2011-06-08 10:07 vertikal Source:vertikalUS based rental company RSC is acquiring the operations and certain operating assets of Independent Aerial Equipment of Elizabeth, New Jersey.
No financial details of the deal have been announced, completion is expected in July.
Independent specialises in the sale and rental of aerial lifts and telehandlers across the states of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Maryland, Virginia, Delaware and Pennsylvania from three locations.
The fleet is made up of JLG, Skyjack, Genie and Snorkel booms and scissors with a number of Skako/Reachmaster Falcon spider type lifts. The fleet has an original cost value of around $50 million. The locations are in Elizabeth, New Jersey, Conshohocken, Pennsylvania and Laurel, Maryland.
RSC chief executive Erik Olsson said: "The acquisition of Independent Aerial Equipment expands our footprint in a major market, consistent with our commitment to strategic growth in attractive geographic areas. The IAE locations in the Northeast complement our existing national footprint, and the addition of their dedicated employees and customers provides us tremendous opportunity for growth. We are very excited to have this quality company and team join the RSC ranks."
