Hanover/Aschaffenburg, 5 May 2011– As the fourth day of the CeMAT 2011 fair draws to a close, Linde Material Handling (Linde MH) can look back on a very successful show. "Visitors to our stand are impressed by both our presentation and the wide range of new products. We have clearly exceeded our expectations in this respect," Ralf Dingeldein, Sales Manager New Vehicles Linde MH, said in Hanover. "The impressions we have made and the talks we are having are all very positive. Spirits are high - no comparison to 2009. Back then we were wallowing in the doldrums, but now the economy is booming," added Theodor Maurer, CEO of Linde MH.
The focus of customer interest at Linde was on the new electric lift trucks Linde E20 to E50 as well as on concepts and production-based vehicles with lithium-ion battery and fuel cell drive. Particular eye-catchers at the show were the appearances of the fastest electric kart in the world - made by Linde. Equipped with drive components of the new electric lift truck Linde E 20 to E 50, this e-kart set up a new world record at Easter, achieving a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in 3.45 seconds. Onlookers were enthralled by some spectacular drifts on the demonstration area.
"By participating in this trade fair we have clearly underlined our claim to be technology leaders in the industry. We’ll continue to press ahead with new products and services," said Maurer.
