On Nov.12, Linde Cup China Forklift Skill Competition Shanghai Baoshan station was held successfully in BLOGIS logistics park, which is the fifth station of Linde Cup held in East Region besides Anting, Minhang, Jinqiao and Nongfu Spring stations. There was nearly 20 teams attended the competition including BLOGIS, Shenzhen TGL Logistics, IDS, Kuehne & Nagel, Cosco Kansai Paint & Chemicals, among which, occupied 90% of company units in BLOGIS park.

Mr. Zhang xiangyang, manager of Linde (China) Shanghai North branch, first of all, gave the warm welcome speech and he also clarified Linde’s stand of organization of this kind of competition, that is, to help drivers to promote the efficiency, and what’ more important, to help drivers to obey the safety driving rules consciously to avoid accidents in daily jobs in future.

After rules of two games had been explained clearly, the competition started. Almost all players had showed their exquisite and unique skills. For example, in individual game, some players drove the truck circling the stake with beautiful drifting, and others, on the contrary, drove the truck at not high speed and went-between the stakes very fluently and quickly. However, no matter which way they drove, they all got the outstanding score.

Mr. Tan, Leader of Cosco Kansai Paint & Chemicals, said that “The competition is popular in our companies, especially in drivers. We did a lot of preparation for this competition and we would try our best today.”
