At the “2010 World Crane Summit” end of September in Beijing, Liebherr was honoured with the first prize in the category “World’s Top Mobile Crane Manufacturers”, an important acknowledgment of the company’s extraordinary international business success in the mobile crane sector. The event was organized by the “China Construction Machinery Magazine“, one of the most significant specialist magazines in China for the construction sector.
The event was attended by high-level representatives of the international manufacturers as well as by major Chinese operators of mobile cranes and crawler cranes.

Liebherr also won the special prize of the “Excellence Award – World AT-Crane“ for outstanding services with regard to technical innovations, product performance, reliability, and market leadership. The Jury described Liebherr as undoubtedly the most excellent manufacturer of all-terrain mobile cranes in the world.

The most important topics at the 2010 World Crane Summit were the current market developments for mobile and crawler cranes worldwide, and in China in particular. Discussion also focused on the trends and challenges in the crane sector, as well as general economic development in China.
