Thieves Steal 10-tonne Forklift
转载 2010-11-24 13:13 BBC Source:BBCPolice have appealed for information after a 10-tonne forklift truck was stolen from a yard in the Falkirk area.
Thieves are thought to have used a low-loader to take the red Manitou forklift from DB Stuart in Redding Road, Westquarter.
The theft took place just after 0600 GMT on Sunday.
Police said the loss of the forklift, worth a five figure sum, would have a major impact on the business and appealed for witnesses to contact them.
Alastair Cook, from the priority crime unit in Falkirk, said: "It is believed the low loader was waiting on Redding Road and we are keen to speak to anyone who may have been in the area at the time or who witnessed the forklift being driven from the yard."
