In March 2010, Konecranes celebrates major milestone with the delivery of the 3.000th produced machine.

The machine produced in the Markaryd, Sweden factory was ordered by Company Van Der Most in Netherlands through Konecranes Dutch Distributor Peinemann BV.

“We are proud of the skill and workmanship that goes into every machine and it sets the stage for our new goal: delivery of the next 3.000 machines” said Lars Fredin, Managing Director and head of Business Unit Lifttrucks. “We share this milestone with our business partners and customers who have made this possible”.

The celebration took place in Markaryd, Sweden where all Lifttrucks local employees could see when the Reach Stacker was driven out from the production hall and started its journey to  the customer Van Der Most after jointly taken the commemorative lunch.

The 3.000th produced Konecranes machine is a Reach Stacker model SMV 4531 TB5 and will feature Konecranes’ Eco-Drive system, which calculates the fuel efficiency of the machine, thus optimizing fuel consumption and minimizing fuel costs in addition to our Load Sensing Hydraulic System”

The Reach Stacker has the capability of lifting laden containers of up to 45 tons five high in the first row and 31 tons in the second row.
