Hyundai Heavy Wins Gold Tower Order for Industrial Service
转载 2010-03-03 15:07 Hyundai Source:HyundaiMr. Lee Jai-sung, president and CEO of Hyundai Heavy, representing the company received the Gold Tower Order for Industrial Service at the 44th Taxpayer’s Day ceremony at COEX Convention Center in Seoul on March 3.
The award is presented by the Ministry of Strategy and Finance, Korea Customs Service and National Tax Service to people and companies which promote a clean and transparent taxpaying culture and finance.
Hyundai Heavy was highly evaluated on the continuous sales growth, the epitome of harmony in labor and management, helping local and national economy with margin improvement, expanding growth engine for its business, supporting medium and small sized companies and creating jobs.
Hyundai Heavy recorded 20 trillion won in sales and 2.3 trillion won in net profit in 2008 which is the base year of 2009 corporate tax.
Requirements to receive the exemplary taxpayer awards are paying more than 7 million won for self-employed persons, 30 million won as corporate tax for company and operating for more than five years by the closing date.
