From Nov. 25th to 27th, 2009, the 1st China International Forum for Petroleum & Chemical Safety, Health and Environmental-Protection was successfully held in Xiamen, Fujian Province. This three-day forum was sponsored by International Communication Center of State Administration of Work Safety (SAWS) and co-sponsored by Beijing Zhong’an Conference Training Center.

Organizations and institutions that weighed a lot in China attended the forum, including State Administration of Work Safety, Pyroban (Suzhou) Safety System Co., Ltd., Linde Forklift (China) Co., Ltd. as well as representatives from relative enterprises and technological development institutes in petroleum and chemical industries, such as China National Petroleum Corporation, China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (Sino-PEC) and China National Offshore Oil Corp.

As one of the world-class enterprises in the field of explosion-proof safety systems, Pyroban (Suzhou) Safety System Co., Ltd. attended the forum and made an important address. The Executive Vice-President of Pyroban Group Lan Ratcliff used PPT to explain elaborately with practical examples, showing that the two focused markets of Pyroban were explosion-proof and environmental protection. He said that safe production and environmental protection was the tenet Pyroban would always insist, which also accorded with the theme of the forum—safety and environmental protection.

In addition, Lan Ratcliff introduced the development course and business of Pyroban in details in order to enhance the image of the attendees on the concept and knowledge of explosion proof as well as more reorganization of Pyroban.

In order to face the challenges in the future and better serve the end users in China, Pyroban (Suzhou) planed to cooperate with Nanyang Explosion Electrical Apparatus Research Institute to establish a new company in Beijing so that they could supply professional consultancy, training and service of explosion proof to the customers.

The forum received concerns from all walks of life based on its large scale, professional trait, high standard and expanded effect. Gathering experts and authorities to present excellent analysis and reports, the forum, with unique features which impressed the attendees deeply, brought the attendees advanced concept and information.
