HiMSEN Engine and Excavator designed by Techno Design Institute of Hyundai Heavy Industries received International Forum Design Award and Pin Up Design Awards 2009.

The HiMSEN Engine (model name: 9H21/32) selected for the International Forum Design Award which is one of the top three design awards in the world. The prize will be awarded at the Hanover CeBIT Exhibition in German in March, 2010.

The HiMSEN Engine (model name: 9H21/32, 18H32/40V) also received the Silver Prize in the Pin Up Design Awards held by the Korean Industrial Designer Association and the Ministry of Knowledge Economy. Also, 9series excavators ranging from 11 tons to 38 tons were acknowledged for their good design.

The Techno Design Institute took the credit for international design power by receiving the International forum Design Award and Pin UP Design Awards for two consecutive years.
