It was told that with the intention to enter forklift manufacturing one year ago, Zhejiang MAQI Precision Machinery Co., Ltd. established forklift department in May, 2009, spending a half year to prepare. In the starting phase, MAQI invested 30 billion Yuan to build up the new workshop occupying area of 50 Mu. Zhejiang MAQI will take charge of production and sales. Focusing on electric stacker and pallet truck at first, MAQI will also march for internal combustion counterbalanced forklift and heavy-duty forklift.

The production and sales of forklift enterprises were in the process of recovery. Compared with the worst situation in the past year, the operating rate was much higher than months ago. The financial crisis had the strongest blow to international forklift market, especially in Europe and America. Foreign-funded enterprises targeted to the Chinese market, leading to the more and more competition of forklift industry in China.

Under such background, there was still a long way for the domestic forklifts to enhance their competitive force.
