Exide: Reliable Chargers Get 5 Year Warranty as Standard
转载 2009-04-01 09:40 Logistics Handling Source:Logistics HandlingExide Technologies’ investment in the production of High Frequency chargers is already providing benefits to owners of materials handling vehicle fleets and this has now been reinforced by the introduction of a standard 5 year warranty on the SP version.
Nigel Harris, Product Support Manager commented, “The main benefit is that they are more energy efficient and in these days of high energy prices and concern over carbon emissions, they are a worthwhile investment. We know that they are also very reliable and therefore have the confidence to offer a 5 year warranty as standard”.
Investment in our SP range of chargers can show significant cost benefits over a 5 year period. The SP high frequency chargers are about 1/10th the size of an equivalent conventional charger meaning that valuable space is freed up for more profitable applications.
Exide Technologies is the only manufacturer to make batteries and matched chargers. “We are fortunate in the UK in having both batteries and chargers locally produced which is unique in the industry,” claims Nigel. “Not only can our HP chargers charge a wider range of batteries than comparable standard chargers, the matching means that the battery is charged optimally – one of the most important aspects affecting service life”.
