Appearing at the LogiMAT 2009 tradeshow in Stuttgart the first week in March, the Hamburg-based company will showcase its competence as an intralogistics solutions provider. The main focus of the Jungheinrich display will be on automatic pallet identification solutions and the new EKS 210/312 order pickers with warehouse navigations.

Jungheinrich will be highlighting its intralogistics activities at LogiMAT 2009 (March 3 to 5 in Stuttgart, hall 7, stand 120). Once again, the focus will be on tailored solutions, including manual warehousing systems based on the proprietary Warehouse Management System and wireless communication as well as fully automated warehouse systems deploying rack storage and retrieval units plus materials handling technology – or a combination of the two. Jungheinrich provides complete customer support – from the initial consultation, planning and project management to system integration and after-sales service during ongoing operations.

Attendees at LogiMAT 2009 will be treated to the unveiling of two new Jungheinrich order pickers – Series 2 and 3 trucks equipped with the latest RFID technology (EKS 210/312). Produced at the Jungheinrich plant in Moosburg, this radio-frequency technology enables the trucks to communicate wirelessly with the Warehouse Management System.

In addition, Jungheinrich has developed several ways of uniquely assigning pallets in the warehouse. These range from the automated scanning of a single pallet's barcode to the automatic recognition of multiple adjacent pallets using RFID technology. Jungheinrich’s appearance at LogiMAT 2009 will mark the first public presentation of this innovative technology as a standard solution.
