New 1260-Ton Class Crane Installed
转载 2009-01-07 13:10 hhi Source:hhiThe Shipbuilding Division installed a new 1260-ton class Goliath Crane at its 670m long, 92m wide Drydock No. 3.
The new crane, made by Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries, is 140m wide, 118m high, and has a 1600-ton lift capacity.
The installation and test trials for the crane were completed by the end of December, with operations starting from January 1st.
With the new goliath crane, the productivity and efficiency of the division is expected to increase with regard to the production of all types of commercial vessels.
