Being handled through a division of sprayer company GoldAcres, Pathway, manager Bruce McIntosh says lifting capacities range from less than one tonne through to seven tonnes with the Maximal Forklift Co currently producing more than 5000 forklifts annually.
“Many of the components for Maximal forklifts are sourced from Europe, Japan and the USA, and they feature brand names which will be very familiar to most industrial and agricultural operators,” he said.
These include:
• Cascade forks
• TCM technology transmissions
• Diesel engines from Isuzu, Yanmar and Perkins plus
• Nissan and Mitsubishi petrol and LPG engines.
One forklift in the M-Series, equipped with a four-cylinder 44kW Nissan petrol engine and Powershift transmission, has a rated capacity of 3000kg, a lift height of 3m and a ‘self weight’ of 4310kg.
Mast tilt angle is 6 degrees to the front and 12 degrees to rear, and it carries a 70L fuel tank.
A range of optional accessories are also available.
Finance options offered by Pathway include leasing, hire purchase or outright sale.
Mr McIntosh said the company carries a comprehensive supply of spare parts for back-up and is offering a 12-month or 1000 hour warranty program.
