Jungheinrich has been awarded by UPS as top partner for the Beijing Olympic Games. UPS highly appreciated Jungheinrich’s contribution to the logistic services supplied to the 29th Olympic Games and the 13th Paralympic Games in Beijing.

Jungheinrich provided 155 trucks for the Olympic Games to support their customers UPS, the exclusive sponsor of logistic and express delivery of the Olympics Games; SCHENKER, the exclusive sponsor of freight forwarding and custom clearance; ARAMARK, the catering service provider; and McDonald, the Olympics Partner and the exclusive formal cooperative restaurant. The Jungheinrich premium quality forklifts ensured its customers and subsequently the Beijing Olympic Organizing Committee high-standard operations and guaranteed the safe transportation of sports equipments and other goods. Jungheinrich organized an Olympic Project Team to arrange and manage the forklifts’ proper and in-time operations in more than 40 venues and the Olympic Logistic Center, which included dispatching 48 trained forklift truck drivers safeguarding the ground transportation.
