YAPP Automotive Parts Co., Ltd. (YAPP), founded in December 1988, jointly invested by State Development & Investment Corporation (SDIC) and Shanghai Automotive Industry Co., Ltd.(SAIC) , it is a group enterprise, specializing in developing , manufacturing and selling the auto plastic fuel tank (PFT). With headquarters and R&D center in Yangzhou,YAPP covers 10 plants located respectively in Yangzhou, Shanghai,Changchun, Chongqing,Tianjin,Yantai, Yancheng, Shenyang etc. and one subsidiary with 50% shares, Wuhan YAPP Auto Plastic Co., Ltd. . 

YAPP is a national key enterprise with high and new technology as well as “A” grade supplier for VW, GM and Ford etc. renowned enterprises. YAPP is the biggest base for developing and manufacturing PFT in China, the only domestic enterprise of exporting PFTs and technology as well as one of Top 100 Comprehensive Competitive Enterprises in the Industry of Auto Parts. YAPP was respectively awarded as an excellent operational case in Asia-Pacific region by the largest software supplier SAP and as an excellent operational case of Office Automation by IBM. YAPP’s leading product is auto PFT assembly which supplys for domestic passenger vehicles manufactured by international famous auto manufacturers, such as VW, Audi, GM, Ford, PSA, Hyundai, Kia, etc. It occupies over 50% market share of domestic sedan PFTs.

The annual output capacity of YAPP amounts to 2 million PFTs. With worldclass equipments, YAPP is capable of manufacturing mono-layer, mono-layer fluorinated and multi-layer (six-layer) composite PFTs in accordance with the strictest emission standard currently and future for environmental requirement.

YAPP’s R&D center possesses the most advanced development & validation means and the sole complete set of testing facilities in China among which the key testing facilities have been approved by VW. YAPP’s system operation always keeps with the world level and passed successively the international third party validations of QS9000、VDA6.1,TS16949, Q1,ISO14000 and OHSAS18000.
