Hangzhou Engine Co., Ltd., China National Heavy-Duty Truck Group（Hereafter referred to as Hangzhou Engine Co., Ltd, CNHTC）is currently the wholly owned subsidiary to China National Heavy- Duty Truck Group. Hangzhou Engine Co., Ltd., CNHTC, with an area of more than 250,000㎡, possesses a total capital of RMB1,500,000,000 and over 2,000 sets of equipment of different kinds, including dozens of major imported equipments, like the crankshaft milling machine from GFM in Austria. Its forging capability and technology remains the leading position in the competition. Its yearly productive capacity is 60,000 set diesel engines and the annual sales are RMB2,500,000,000.

Hangzhou Engine Co., Ltd, CNHTC, a modern large enterprise as well as a major one in China specializing in manufacturing high-speed heavy-duty engines, have designed and developed series engines of 6120, X6130, H493 and WD415 that have won national fame respectively.

WD615 series engines with the power ranging from 160-266KW, is the leading product introduced from Austria. Compared with other products of the same kind, they are more advanced in technique and more stable in performance so that they have been listed among the key products in “the Eleventh Five Plan” by the national automotive industry. In July 2006, the SinoTruk engines, meeting with the Euro III emission regulations, were successfully launched into the sales market. Shortly afterwards, a more powerful and efficient one, Efficiency No.II, was launched in August, 2006.

Emphasizing and persisting that “technology is always regarded as the guideline, quality and precautions as the focus, improvement as consistency, and supplying satisfactory products and service to the customers as goals”, it has established the quality management system in design, development and service of the diesel engines and diesel engines generates, so that it was certified by the quality system the ISO 9001-9004 in 1997 and ISO/TS16949 in 2005.

To further promote the production capacity, the plant will be wholly moved to Xiaoshan Economic Development Zone in southern Hangzhou, which goes in comply with CNHTC’s developing plan and the industry layout adjustment by Hangzhou municipal government. As much as RMB 2,000,000,000 has been invested in the construction that was started on the new location on 8th, September, 2006, covering an area of 550 mu. By the end of May, 2008, Hangzhou Engine Co., Ltd will complete the project and become the leading engine manufacturer in China by achieving the goal of yearly productive capacity of 100,000 to 120,000 sets engines.
