Cheng Shin Rubber (Xiamen) Ind., Ltd. (Hereinafter referred to as “XCS” below)is a wholly owned subsidiary of Cheng Shin Rubber Industry Co.,Ltd. XCS was established on Mar 26th, 1989 with a total registered capital of 70 million US dollars. The business operation started on Dec 19th, 1991 with Vice-Premier Gu Mu, and Fujian provincial leaders attending the opening ceremony. The plant covers 300,000 square meters. It was divided into 5 phases. The first, second and third phases occupy about 200,000 square meters with a total investment of 210 million US dollars. From March 1992, XCS has specialized in manufacturing tires and tubes for agricultural and industrial applications as well as for bicycles, motorcycles, and Automobiles.

She received DOT approval from the Department of Transportation of USA in June 1992, ISO9001 certificate in August 1994, E-mark Certificate from EEC in December 1996, QS9000 certificate in August 2000 and China Compulsory Certificate in September 2002. Nov.2004 Our “Cheng Shin” brand for tires and tubes were rewarded as the “China Well-Known Brand”. All of these indicate that XCS has reached the World-advanced level in quality and management. With the worldwide sales networks, XCS continuously increases her sales and always ranks on the first place in China tire industry. Focus on the further development, Cheng Shin Group launch 2 Joint-ventures with Toyo Tires, set up the 2nd subsidiary with total investment of 315 million US dollars in Kunshan, Jiangsu Province in 1993, Named Cheng Shin-Toyo Tire&Rubber(China)Ind.,Ltd. In 2001, The Cheng Shin-Petrel Tire(Xiamen)Co.,Ltd was established. Following that, Xiamen Cheng Shin Enterprise Co.,Ltd. Found in Jan 2004 and Cheng Shin(Xiamen)Logistics Co.,Ltd is building.
