Bulgaria Balkan Forklift Group Company produced electric trucks and electric forklifts.

In 1952, the company produced the first set Balkan electric truck. The first 150 sets electric forklifts were exported to Russia and Czechoslovakia in 1957.

In 1966, the company manufactured the first engine powered forklift;

In 1975, annual production volume had exceeded 50,000 sets;

In 1978, production of BALKANCAR ranked the first of industrial forklifts in the world and in 1992, the company has produced 1.5 million industrial forklifts.
