Ministry of Construction’s key research topic of 2001-- “Research on H-beam steel structure energy-saving housing system ”, assumed by Laigang Construction, was approved in Sep. 2003, the project totally reached national advanced level. The topic was awarded the first national green building innovation medal, first-grade honor of science and technology advancement of Shandong province in 2004 and the title of Chinese ten construction science achievements. Laigang Construction was awarded the top honor of golden medal of Chinese construction steel structure in China steel structure construction industry during three consecutive years from 2003 to 2005. Laigang Construction became the industrialized base of steel structure energy-saving house of Ministry of Construction in Mar 2004.
