Previously known as the FLTA National Forklift Safety Convention, the UKMHA Safety Convention is the most authoritative event of its kind in the materials handling calendar. It will see hundreds of managers, from across the UK, come together to share best practice advice. The event is part of the Association’s drive to large-scale change for the better and this year’s event will be focussed on operator training and will coincide with National Forklift Safety Day. Collectively, Safety Convention delegates are responsible for the lives of many thousands of workers across the UK. It is crucial that they have the very best, most practical and valuable information and this is exactly what the Safety Convention strives to do.

Don’t miss your chance to hear from key industry figures who will be sharing valuable information and practical tips for making operations safer and more productive. Speakers and topics include:

Scott McCreedy – Briggs Equipment: Onsite Engineer Safety and Launching the UKMHA Safe Working Area Charter

Laura Nelson – RTITB: Making Lift Truck Operator and Supervisor Training Powerful and Effective

Andy Cartwright – ABA:Requirement For Supplementary Training When Attachments Are Deployed

Stuart Taylor – Mentor:The Life-Cycle of Operator Training

Kanwal Kandar – Health & Safety Executive:Latest HSE Guidance

John Hotowaka – Motivational Speaker: Achievement Thinking

The event will also include an exhibition area, which will feature CFTS, ZoneSafe, Mentor, FB Chain Ltd, B&B Attachments and RTITB.
